Left Behind?

Belinda Anderson - July 2013
(David's notes in red)

Much of the Church has bought the lie that the Christians will escape everything through a rapture and those left behind were not chosen. However, we see in this dream and scriptures that those left behind after the Beast makes war with the Church in the tribulation are chosen to be alive and left until the coming of the Lord because of holiness. Watch or listen to The Church and Tribulation.)

I dreamed it was right after Thanksgiving and we were all in bed asleep, as it was the middle of the night. I was back on the farm and I was 12 years old (12 represents completion of the elect: 12 tribes, 12, apostles, etc.). I was awakened at 2:00 am by a voice that told me to get up, get dressed and make my bed. Then I was told to put on my coat, hat, gloves and boots and go out through my bedroom window and shut the window down tight. (This represents escaping in such a way as to not be seen. {Luk.21:36} But watch ye at every season, making supplication, that ye may prevail to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.) After doing this, then I was told to go to the strawberry patch and sit under the tree and wait there until daylight. I knew just where the voice was telling me to go. This was my favorite secret strawberry patch and it was about a half mile from the farm house. I had to go the rest of the way up the hill and through two big fields and the strawberry patch was on the other side of the fields. I remember as a child, when I would get hot, I would go and sit under this big shade tree and rest until I cooled off.

When it was daylight, I got up and went back to the farmhouse and when I got there everyone was gone. I went through the entire house and all the beds were unmade, which was unusual, as we always had to make our beds before we left for school in the morning. It appeared that everyone left in a hurry. Nothing else was missing in the house that I could tell, just all of my family. I had no idea what had happened to make my family leave. At that point, I figured I was in big trouble because they had to leave in a hurry and I wasn't there. I went around making all the beds and cleaning up, then I went outside and fed all the farm animals and got the morning chores done. I went to the well and drew enough water for the day. I figured by getting the chores done, maybe I wouldn't be in so much trouble when they all got back. I put my school clothes on and went down to the bottom of the hill and waited for the school bus. I waited and waited but the bus never came, so I went back up the hill and checked the clock and it was 9:30 am. The bus always got to our house at 8:00 am sharp, so I knew something was strange.

As the day wore on, I began to get concerned as to why they all had to leave so suddenly. (Her family represents the Church and the red text below from Luke tells why they will flee.) I went into the living room and turned on the TV but all I got was a snowy buzzy picture, like you got back then when the TV would sign off during the night. Then I went over to the wall phone in the dining room and picked up the receiver but there was no dial tone. I clicked it a few times, as we were on a party line back, then but no one else came on the line and the phone appeared to be dead.

I went into the kitchen and started making dinner, which was a usual routine in our family and I made enough for all of us (there were nine of us in the farmhouse at that time). After dinner was ready, I waited and waited and when no one showed up, I went ahead and ate and cleaned everything back up and put the leftovers in the refrigerator. I then decided to go back into the living room and sit on the sofa and wait for them. I figured surely they would all arrive back soon, as it was getting dark and they knew I was home alone and would be getting concerned by this time.

I fell asleep on the sofa and when I woke up it was the next morning. I immediately jumped up and ran into my grandparents' bedroom but no one was there. I went into my mother's room and no one was there. I checked my sister's and brother's rooms but no one was there and there was no evidence that they had come back home. I went ahead and did all the usual chores and got ready for school. Again, I went down to the foot of the hill and waited for the bus but, just like the day before, it never came. This same scenario went on day after day and it finally dawned on me that they were not coming back and I was on my own.

On the fourth day, I hitched the wagon up to the tractor and decided I would go north up the gravel road and see if I could find any of the neighbors to see what was going on but as I went from house to house to house, no one was home and all of their beds were unmade and it looked as if they all left in the middle of the night as well. I started to collect food and things that I thought would be useful and put them into the wagon. I wasn't sure how much gas was in the tractor, so I figured I had better make this trip count.

I got back to the farm house just before dark, unloaded the wagon, put everything away, fed the animals and went back inside the house. Before I knew it, December passed into January, January into February and so on until it was the end of June. By this time, I had turned 13 years old. One morning, while I was milking the cow, I heard a strange noise I hadn't heard in a very long time. I stood up so I could hear better; then I heard the clip-clop of horse hooves on the gravel road, pulling a wagon coming from the north. I decided to hide behind the big hickory nut tree so I could see who was coming down the road but so they would not be able to see me.

As they passed by the farm house, I saw two men seated on the buckboard of the wagon and the man driving the horses appeared to be much older than the man seated beside him. I couldn't tell if anyone was in the back of the wagon, as the wagon had a large tarp-like thing over the back of it, like the old-time wagon trains that went out west. I decided to follow this wagon for a while through the woods so they couldn't see me. When they got about a mile or so from the house, they suddenly stopped and two women and two children got out of the back and they all sat down to eat.

As they were eating, I decided to step out of the woods and confront them and see if they knew what had happened to everyone. As I said hello, the older man got up and came over to the barbed wire fence and smiled at me. I asked him, "Are you lost?" He said, "No. Are you?" I said, "No!" He asked me where I lived but I didn't want to tell him, as I wasn't comfortable doing that. I then asked him where they were going. He said, "I was sent by God to pick someone up on this road". I told him that I had been up and down this road for miles in both directions and that everyone was gone. I told him how it looked like they had all left at the same time and in every house all the beds were unmade, like they all had to leave in a hurry. He then smiled at me and said, "Well, I guess you are the one we are looking for!" I think he knew all along I was following them and he knew I was the one they were sent to pick up.

He then asked me to join them, so I did and then I asked if we could go back to my house so I could get some clothes and turn all of the animals loose. When it was time to leave, I asked the older man if he knew what had happened to everyone and he said he did and that they would not be coming back (because they are dead). I then asked him why I was left behind and everyone else was taken and he said, "Because God chose you". I then got into the back of the wagon and then I woke up. {1Th.4:17} then we that are alive, that are left, shall together with them be caught up in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. {18} Wherefore comfort one another with these words. Notice who was left behind: {Mat.13:41} The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that cause stumbling, and them that do iniquity, {42} and shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth. {43} Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He that hath ears, let him hear.

The day I read the above dream, a brother sent me this text which makes it plain why being left behind is such a privilege. We also see here that Jesus said the Church would be here for this: {Mar.13:8} For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; there shall be earthquakes in divers places; there shall be famines: these things are the beginning of travail. {9} But take ye heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in synagogues shall ye be beaten; and before governors and kings shall ye stand for my sake, for a testimony unto them. {10} And the gospel must first be preached unto all the nations. {11} And when they lead you [to judgment], and deliver you up, be not anxious beforehand what ye shall speak: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye; for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Spirit. {12} And brother shall deliver up brother to death, and the father his child; and children shall rise up against parents, and cause them to be put to death. {13} And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved.

{14} But when ye see the abomination of desolation standing where he ought not (let him that readeth understand) (The world Beast body includes those who walk in the mind [forehead] and works [hand] of the flesh but who claim Christianity. When these take the mark of the Beast to save their lives in mid-trib and return to their Churches, the abomination that maketh desolate is in the Holy Place of God's temple.), then let them that are in Judaea [a Jew is one circumcised in heart, not flesh] flee unto the mountains: {15} and let him that is on the housetop not go down, nor enter in, to take anything out his house: {16} and let him that is in the field not return back to take his cloak. {17} But woe unto them that are with child and to them that give suck in those days! {18} And pray ye that it be not in the winter. {19} For those days shall be tribulation, such as there hath not been the like from the beginning of the creation which God created until now, and never shall be. {20} And except the Lord had shortened the days, no flesh would have been saved; but for the elect's sake, whom he chose, he shortened the days. (The elect will leave at the end of the trib but the wicked will go into the Day of the Lord, a year of vengence for the cause of God's people -- Isaiah 34:8.)

{21} And then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is the Christ; or, Lo, there; believe [it] not: {22} for there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall show signs and wonders, that they may lead astray, if possible, the elect. {23} But take ye heed: behold, I have told you all things beforehand. {24} But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, {25} and the stars shall be falling from heaven, and the powers that are in the heavens shall be shaken. {26} And then shall they see the Son of man coming in clouds with great power and glory. {27} And then shall he send forth the angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth (this is where the chosen that are alive are taken) to the uttermost part of heaven (the dead in Christ).

Another text pertinent to being alive and remain is: {Zec.13:7} Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith Jehovah of hosts: smite the shepherd (since history always repeats, this was Jesus and will be Jesus in the Man-child ministry), and the sheep shall be scattered; and I will turn my hand upon the little ones. {8} And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith Jehovah, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. {9} And I will bring the third part into the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried. They shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people; and they shall say, Jehovah is my God.
